Hello Lopez Island Yacht Club Members.

I want to open part 2 of the May Commodores Corner with a thank you and a request. First, a huge thank you to Migael Scherer for being our News Line editor. Migael’s work getting fun and exciting topics from members and compiling them for our website was fun and vital to keeping us engaged during the covid year. Thank you, Migael! Her term has ended, but Im sure she will continue to help us when she can.

We now need to find someone to help bring exciting news content to the Web site. If anyone would like help, please contact Judy Welker (AKA Web Wench) judy@welkerempire.com or Me John.Zaborsky@gmail.com . We are always looking for new ideas so bring your ideas forward. If anyone has a good boating story or experience they would like to share, please send it our way.

As I mentioned in Part One, we could not schedule the Flat point Clam Bake this year, so in lieu of our next event will at the Golf Club at 3 pm on June 6.
