We feel so fortunate to be able to live and play in the majestic beauty of the San Juan Islands with a home base on Lopez Island. Bill was raised in Anacortes and as a child, often bicycled to Lopez Island with his best friend, especially enjoying stops at Richardson Store for hand dipped ice cream cones and the Islandale Store for snacks. I was raised in Everett and vacationed every summer with my family, cruising around the San Juan and Canadian Gulf Islands in our old, converted fishing boat. I too remember those ice cream cones at Richardson Store. While my career took me to Arizona for 30+ years, I still yearned to return to the PNW, especially for boating. In 2007, we purchased a Lopez property on Dusty Road and built a cabin on the shore in which to enjoy in our leisure time.  After our retirement and the selling of my business in 2019, we purchased our 2022 Sabre 48 Salon Express and are now enjoying cruising the local waters again. Who knows…perhaps a cruise up the Inside Passage to Alaska is in our future.

Thanks so much,

Warren Lueth and Bill Martijn
