Scott and Carol Sherrow were both born and raised in Washington State and have spent more than 50 years recreating throughout the San Juan Islands. Over the years, they enjoyed camping with their children at the county campground on Shaw Island, creating many lasting family memories.
In 2016, they purchased property on Lopez Island and began the process of building their dream home. In June 2025, they made Lopez Island their permanent residence.
Today, Scott and Carol continue to enjoy exploring the San Juan Islands by boat, appreciating the area’s natural beauty, scenic waterways, and abundant wildlife. They value the unique lifestyle and sense of community that make the islands such a special place to call home.

In accordance with the club’s By-laws, they have completed all the requirements of sending in their application, initiation fees, photo, etc. Publishing their photo and bio is the last step in the process. After ten days for comments from the membership, the governing board will vote for membership.
