BIO – Ketch de Kanter & India Mayo de Kanter 

“We’ve been boating in canoes, kayaks, and whitewater rafts since our very first dates in 1998, and took the leap to a “big boat” as novices in 2019. After years of back and forth between Portland and the Islands with the boat we bought a home on Lopez in 2025 and plan to spend more and more time here until we retire here full time. Now we are on our second boat, “Sunshine” and hope to join the LIYC Canadian cruise in 2026.”

To the Membership:

Please say hello to Ketch and India Mayo and welcome them into our club.

In accordance with the club’s By-laws, they have completed all the requirements of sending in their application, initiation fees, photo, etc. Publishing their photo and bio is the last step in the process. After ten days for comments from the membership, the governing board will vote for membership.
