Scott & Linda Seefeldt BIO :
Linda and Scott were introduced to the Lopez Island Yacht Club through friends (Scott Allen and Nancy Hall) that we had met at an annual Targa Rendezvous, both couples being fairly new owners of Targa power boats. We were fortunate enough to be included in the Yacht Club’s 2025 Canadian flotilla to the Southern Gulf Islands and further on to Desolation Sound. It was a solid introduction to cruising in Canadian waters with great guidance for first timers supplied by knowledgeable and generous club members. Our previous northern Puget Sound experiences having been limited to US San Juans in our Nordic 40 sailboat.
Linda and I mainly grew up in north Seattle and now still live there in the Madrona neighborhood. Both of us retired a few years ago. Linda spent her high school years in Bellingham and enjoyed being in the San Juans in the summer. We both have many fond memories of boating growing up, Linda salmon fishing with her father and Scott through Boy Scouts and owning and restoring a wooden “R” class sloop. As members of Wind Works Sailing we had some great bare-boat group charters to Italy and Croatia and are looking forward to more extensive cruising closer to home.
