“Swimming with humpbacks in the Caribbean”
LIYC members Gene Helfman and Judy Meyer relive their eco-cruise to Silver Bank in the Caribbean where they snorkeled with humpback whales. Silver Bank is the wintering grounds for the North Atlantic population of humpbacks, a place where moms give birth and care for their newborn calves, and bulls fight over and court females.
