Read All About It . . .
The Newsline was published each month for much longer than the archives included here. These printed versions were mailed out to the membership each month. When the first club website went online, the publications were also posted on the Newsline page as pdfs and can be revisited below.
Shanley Lett was the editor of each of these historical publications, producing them like clockwork and were much anticipated by our members. Each publication below, dating back to 2009, included club announcements, upcoming events “happenings,” articles of interest to boat lovers, which could be informative or humorous. She encouraged the current commodore to meet their deadline for “The Commodore’s Corner,” a monthly report. As always, she took lots of photos at every event and included them in the publications, making everyone feel inclusive. She is sorely missed.
The deal is . . . that these publications are still fun to read, from a historical prospective, chock full of humor, nostalgia, and a great representation of what the club was and is all about. Read one or all, at your leisure.
