Dear Yachties,

The LIYC general meeting will be held using Zoom on Oct 21, 2020, at 6:00 pm.

Please join us early for a no-host bar and open microphones starting at 5:45 pm. At 6 pm, we will mute the mics to reduce back noise, but if you have questions or comments, click the “Chat” button to open the chat window and send a msg to John Zaborsky, and I will open your mic.

Commodore Russ Johnson will be updating us on the latest club news, and our Membership Chair, Barbara Carver, will be welcoming our newest members Steve Greenstein, and Glenn & Nancy Griley.

We also have an excellent presentation arranged for the evening. Glen Wagner will be presenting “Anchoring with confidence and tips for determining where to drop your anchor when in small or crowded anchorages.” Glen is a retired Ford Motor Company Service Engineer and airplane pilot. He most recently has been delivering boats for Ranger Tug and providing customer training. He also led a flotilla from Anacortes to Sitka, Alaska, and back in a Ranger 25.
